What I'm Reading ~ The Patient

One of the things I love is reading. I read mostly before bedtime as it is the only time where the boys are quiet. I buy books mostly from Pay Less Bookstore, well, the name itself is self explanatory! :)

I read all types of books, both fiction and non fiction. It can be sci-fi, murder, romance, D.I.Y, self help, cook books, even war stories! One of my favourite books this year has to Dan Brown's Da Vince Code. I've read his other other book, Angels & Demons and it's on par with his first book. Dan Brown is a genius of a writer... there's always twists and surprises in all his books, well... both in the books I've read so far:)

Now I'm reading Michael Palmer's The Patient.

Synopsis

Neurosurgeon Jessie Copeland works at the very frontier of neurosurgery, developing technology that could revolutionize the treatment of brain tumors. But her work brings her to the attention of an infinitely dangerous man.

Claude Malloche is brilliant, remorseless : a terrorist without regard for the human life. He is also ill with a brain tumor considered to be inoperable. Nothing can stop Malloche from getting to the woman he believes can cure him. For those caught in his path, the nightmare has just begun... and no one is more aware of the stakes than Jessie Copeland.

In brain surgery, there are no guarantees - but that's exactly what Malloche demands. With disaster just one cut away, Jessie faces the most harrowing case of her life... and the price of failure may be thousands of lives...
