Eine Geburtstag-Widmung

Today is my sister Mary Ann's birthday. Being the youngest of 5 sisters I still regard her as my baby sister. Many would say that growing up with all girls is difficult, but actually it wasn't. I'm fortunate to have 4 caring and loving sisters. Yeah, we had our arguments and disagreements at some points in our lives but they were never that serious. I miss her very much, ever since an Austrian 'abducted' her..hahaha.. just kidding sis:). She's now happily married with an adorable daughter in Austria. Of all places...so far away... if it was Australia then maybe I would be able to visit them since it is nearer. It'll be years before I can set foot in Austria...that much I know. Well sis, at least you fulfilled your dream of marrying a 'jungle-man'...hehehe... Oh, thanks for the chocolates and those hand-me-downs. I always look forward to her 'balik kampung' once in 2 or 3 years coz there would always be some ole-ole for me:). Happy Birthday once again and just wanna say that I'm proud to have a sister like you. Mai kommen alle Ihre Träume zutreffend. (Hope the German's correct)

  1. Thank you very much sis for the lovely and thoughtful birthday wish! One thing that caught my eye was the picture of me when I was I think 6 or 7 years old (my goodness! toun tulivot!) but I don't remember the background.. was it at the corner of our house.. where the coconut trees are/were?

I am also happy to have 4 big sisters cos I can say that I am spoiled by them! LOL!! Like getting chocolates everyday from the eldest sister, waiting anxiously and screaming "hurrah" as we saw her stepping out from the bus/minivan way back in the 80's... I cherish those moments till to date and being with 4 big sisters has been a blessing for me too cos I am always the last to be blamed.. HEHE!

Anyway, thank you sis (for the puji-pujian.. I can feel my ears are getting wider already!) and my other sisters back home who have sent me sms.. just want you all to know that I love you all so much and not to forget that I am a proud little sis who have 4 great sisters.

FYI... I am already missing home soo much.. but can't do much.. just have to wait 2-3 years. (Mom would've said "isai monuu mokisavo tuhun tosodu"). LOL

Take care sis and great big hugs to my dear nephews.

  4. Oh I see.. the background looks original (pandai ko gia ti manipulating picture), really like kampung. And I remember the picture now. :D

Thanks Mat Dingo... your name reminds of Bingo. LOL

  5. "Mögen all' ihre Träume wahr werden." is proper German. 'Mai' is the month May.

  6. Thanks Zep. I really had no idea, just typed it in Babel Fish Language Translator & copied from there:)

  7. Oops.. sorry sis.. I ter-overlook this one (shame on me), indeed thanks to Zep for correcting it up.

P/S. My German is still on learning process so I didn't really noticed the Mai as in May (or the whole sentence). LOL
