The flooring in my room is practically coming apart on me and it's driving me crazy at times. I live in a house that has marble flooring in the living area, which is really not a problem cos marble flooring is pretty cool, but now, when it comes to my room area, which is entirely coated with parquet, that's where the headache starts.
The parquet is kinda old and has been affected by moisture and heat causing to literally gets stuck to my foot as I walk on it, especially when I just had my shower and my feet are still slightly damp, the parquet tends to cling on to my feet more easily. My elder boy and myself have been trying to glue the floor back wherever we can find loose parquet but our job is a never ending task cos every day there will be some new loose parquet for us to fight with... hehehe!
That was all a thing of the past because I stumbled upon this great site with that offers a whole load of articles and tips on everything you can imagine about flooring options as well as carpeting. The tips they offer on all kinds of floor that suits a certain area in your home. The information and tips they provide are quite in depth as they talk about the quality of the wood for instance, the grade of the wood with regards to its colour and graining appearance.
Not limiting themselves to just providing articles and tips alone, they also provide step by step instructions on how to lay tiles, laminate your floor, fix your flooring problems (I could do with that one) and a host of other useful stuff. Hopefully by equipping myself with these knowledge that they offer, I'll be able to finally fix those cheeky little tiles that love to cling on to me :)
I know exactly how you feel when those parquet tiles thingy gets stuck to your foot la ... I hate it when that happens, shows you the extremely 'good' quality of things here ... LOL!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Problems solved!! ;D
ReplyDeleteNick - I think the quality degrades with age. The house is probably more than 15 years already. Even worse when kena water.
ReplyDeleteCrystal - Well, I have yet to apply the tips... hehe. Too lazy, maybe this weekend:)
