Don't you just hate seeing oil- stained concrete floors, especially the ones in your garage? Apart from being dangerously slippery, they can look downright unsightly. I mean it just looks plain ugly with those black oil stained spots on the floor which resemble a colony of mouldy bacteria. Do you have the same 'design' on your garage floors?
Another dangerous situation is a cracked concrete floor. You must have heard of the death of Malaysia's first astronaut's brother, he tripped on a floor (probably something that has a crack on it), fell, hit his head, went into a coma and died a few days later! It's just unfortunate:(.
That is why you must ensure your concrete floors, be it in the garage, porch or basement are free from any cracks and oily spots of any kind. The moment you see those dangerous signs, get it fixed immediately to avoid unnecessary accidents.
Oh, I have that very same problem in my porch floor where I park my car. All the grime and dirt and whatnots that leak from car stains my floor, You should see it. It's a new floor colour altogehter ... hehehe
ReplyDeleteMD - I see the same pattern on everyone's porch floor! Everybody I know has leaky cars... haha
