Paris Beckons...

A friend of mine went to Paris, France recently. I wish I could fit myself into one of her suitcases but it was too small for my size! I should have tried losing weight the moment she told me of her plans. Darn:(

She was lucky to go with a group of friends so finding hotel in Paris was made easy as they went through a reputable Tour agent. She must have been influenced by what she saw at the Paris Fashion Week! My eyes nearly popped out when I saw a number of branded stuff, things like Chanel leather handbags, jewelry, perfumes, shoes and clothes!!Had I followed her, all I could afford was probably just a key-chain!

She also visited Nice, a city known for its medieval heritage in the vieille ville (old town), narrow winding streets and closely-packed red-tiled roofs. Since she was only passing through the city, she couldn't stay at the many Nice hotels. I got envious when I saw all the photos she snapped, picturesque beaches of Antibes, the beautiful Promenade des Anglais, the flea market ~ the Marché a la Brocante et Antiquités in Cours Saleya, went fine dining eating truffles and drinking expensive French wines . Married to an affluent businessman certainly has its perks!

Sorry guys, no pictures here:(. I tried bribing my friend but she forbade me posting any pictures, even threatened me with bodily harm if I posted her pictures... sigh!! I'm definitely joining them the next time they go for a holiday. Which reminds of my expired passport, I really have to get it renewed soon.

Well, I guess it doesn't really matter where in France you'd like to go, because with all the hotels in France that you can find, accommodation will be the least of your worries. So get packing and plan your trip to France now!

Oh, check out the lovely mini perfumes my friend got me from Paris, thanks Kat!:)
