For The Love Of Steel

I've always been intrigued by stainless steel. I don't really know why. Maybe it's because they look so refined and classy. Maybe it's the shine, maybe it's the contemporariness of it, who knows but all I know is I just love stainless steel stuff.

And because of that I was kinda curious of what kinds of stainless steel items I could find. Right now, all the stainless steel things I see around out there are those stainless steel gates and fences. So boring. I'm sure there are lots more stainless steel stuff out there that are way more cool than those gates ... LOL!

So, I took it upon myself to find out. Ok, ok, I was a little bored with nothing much to do today so I checked a few sites out and boy, was I impressed with the stainless steel items out there. There were many sites out there about these items but I took an immediate liking to one, aptly called The Stainless Steel Store. They've got a whole list of categories ranging from outdoors, decorative items, dining stuff, cooking right up to products that relate to the elements!

I found a few that I instantly fell in love with. It was this stainless steel pinwheel, the kind that you put in the garden and let the wind blow against it and it rotates like a propeller. I just love playing with those as a kid and this stainless steel one takes it to a new level :) The other thing that I found pretty cool was this stainless steel hanger. It would look so cool with my closed hung on it in my wardrobe. Hmmm, but then I'd have to get a new wardrobe so it would complement my hanger ... LOL!

But on the serious side, I never knew the amount of stainless steel products out there like wall hooks, basting brushes, cheese slicers, tea bag filter clips (yes, you heard me, tea bag filter clips too). I would love to have some of those. It would sure make my house look so much more contemporary with some nice shiny products like these around.

See what happens when I have so much of time on my hands. I tend to g o a little crazy and look around for all kinds of things. Hmmmm, since I'm still free, maybe I'll go look for wooden products now ... LOL!
