The Defenders

Time sure flies doesn't it? It seemed like only yesterday that we were celebrating Christmas and next week it's going to be time for the Chinese New Year celebrations. At least it'll be a nice long holiday. The kids school will be off from next Wednesday until Tuesday. No need to wake up early and all that to prepare their breakfast and stuff. Woohoo, I can sleep in late... hehehe.

It's going to be a very loud and noisy time during the Chinese New Year because I'm sure they'll be loads of people in my neighbourhood who are going to be lighting up firecrackers and stuff. Even though firecrackers are banned here, I'm definitely sure people will still get their hands on some. It's always the same every year. But I guess it's part of the festivities, after all what is the Chinese New Year without the noise of some firecrackers? It's all in the spirit of the celebration.

Everyone's going to be having a great time but do be moderate in your enjoyment. This might sound like a safety campaign ad but if you're going to drink, then don't drive. Too many accidents happened especially during the festivities here. I wouldn't wish that to anyone. You don't want to be pulled over by some traffic cop for drink driving now would you. I'm not sure if you'd be able to find any DUI lawyers over here that would help you out. Maybe if you were in Los Angeles you might though. Then you can probably call the Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorneys | California DUI Felony Misdemeanor Lawyers and speak to the handsome gentleman to see if he could get you out of that little mess you got yourself into by drinking and driving.

Cheh! Can die of heart attack like this.
Oh well, I only read on weekends when she sleeps late, ha ha.
Re drinking and driving, we here have lots of house parties among the Malaysiam, Singapore exiles here, but we always close the bar at 11.pm, then coffee and kuehs is served...especially now we have snow and icy roads.
Last week I had to drive home at 3am, party finished, 56 miles of icy roads, snowing like crazy...my wife watching the road, me too incase any car slides or skids infront of us...and mine too doing the waltz and Tango on the icy road, but managed reach home safe.
We sure miss CNY here, no holidays, wife working. So stay home and read blogs, ha ha.
You have a nice day, Nessa, UL.
