I am pissed off with Public Bank's e-banking service! A couple of months back I got my ID and password 'renewed' after my failed attempt to log in. OK, that was my fault coz I forgot my password. Silly me, but never mind.
I was advised to return to the bank and get a new one. OK, sounds easy but still, it was troublesome going to the bank just to get another ID and password. Fine, I told myself. So, I did. Instead of it being an easy process, I had to take a number and wait to be served. It's not like I'm withdrawing money. Sometimes, these banks don't use their brains at all. It took almost 2 hours just to get that ID and password.
Then a few days ago, I couldn't use my ID and password to log into their site again. Grrrr... I can't believe it. This time, I was smart cos I wrote down my ID and password just in case I actually forgot what it was. Still, after keying in the password which I am 150% sure is correct, the system refused to accept it and I was told to go to the bank again for a new ID and password. WTF!!! Useless e-banking service, I wish I could shove the whole stupid thing into their mouth and a******s!!
Well, PB, you can keep your useless, not even up to date ebanking service for all I care. I might as well go check some of the best web hosting plans than go line up, get a number and wait like a stupid moron just to get a new ID and password. Argggggghh!!!! I'm in a mean mood, stay away from me ... LOL!
do you need to sign anything before they give out the ID and password? cos yg sia tau kalu cimb, i just need to call them and they'll give out the ID and password.

Welllll, Public Bank is one really screwed up old back that only aunties use la (no offense to all aunties that is ... LOL).
ReplyDeleteThey're really useless but unfortunately I used their debit card to withdraw my paypal so I got no choice but to use them as well.
I hope you go over and give them 3 or 4 pieces of you mind. That'll learn them :D

Ei.. seriously, I f*ckin pissed off with them as well!! You know, when I applied for their debit card (for the PayPal reason la, else I couldn't be bothered), I CLEARLY stated in the form what name should be printed in the card.

When I got the debit card, they so smart go edit and ignore what name I wanted to be on the card. Instead of using my first name, they printed my SECOND name on it!!! WTF WTF WTF. Of all the banks I've got my credit cards, this is the FIRST stupid bank who decided which name I should have on the card. I'm a very detail person and I want my credit cards (and er, debit card) to have the same names printed on each of them. Having a "different" name on a freakin debit card is an eyesore to me!
Eh, now I panas pulak. Hahaha!
Did it take forever for you guys to get your debit cards? I dunno lah, but apparently the bank doesn't have an online system where they can upload new customer info and stuff. Have to send borang from KK to KL by snail mail!

ReplyDeleteNick - Ya, I also use their debit card, so no choice there. But their ebank report is not up to date.
ReplyDeleteEspecially when you need to check if Paypal has credited $$ into your account. You have to go all the way to the their ATM's to find out.
Haizum - I don't mind queuing up if the service is fast. Much worse if their counter clerks don't even smile or say 'Thank You'.

Rozella - At this day and age, you'll still have to send it via mail coz only their HQ in KL can process. No use having beribu2 branches kan.

Emelda - They have a lot to improve la. I've worked in this bank before (18 yrs ago)... adui, makes me feel reali old!

BREATH!!! haha...PB is not a very bank in Kuching either. We always have problem with them one way or another. The services they offer really sucks by the way and if not because my parents friend is the manager of one of the PB branch, I wouldn't bother to open saving accounts there.
ReplyDeleteI just activated to use online, so far no prob... Mine is Penang branch. Maybe you can log a complain? I always log complain to any service I don't feel satisfy! Keep logging and they will treat you like VIP at the end... haha! Make their life difficult instead of them making our life in mess.. Sorry to hear your bad experience!
