Do you know that motorcyclists contribute most of the road accidents here in Malaysia? I've seen how these people ride their bikes and some of them ride without their helmets on (they probably think they have unbreakable heads), and they seldom... OK, make it rarely stop at the traffic lights. This of course makes my blood boil! I mean, what gives them the right to go when everyone has to wait for the lights to turn green??
It angers (that's such a mellow word, I should use a stronger one) me that these reckless riders get away with it. Heck! They probably don't even have Motorcycle Insurance even. The level of enforcement is so pathetic (tsk! tsk!) that I wouldn't be surprise if one day dogs start to ride motorcycles and get away with it.
So, if you happen to be a driver, please be considerate. Have a heart. Don't jump queue, don't drive your car in the yellow box ( you should know the reason why you're not supposed to), don't double park, don't hog the fast lane, don't steal people's parking spot...etc. I could go on and on. If you're guilty of doing all that, I suggest that you go back to driving school.
Being on the roads especially in KL can cause one's blood pressure to soar! Remember to get your vehicles insured. That's the most important thing before you hit the roads :)
True! Driving in KL roads can give you heart attack! So many stupid drivers as well, drive makan jalan then suddenly can brake the car one! >:(
ReplyDeleteUhhh, these crazy motocycle guys. I know what you mean. There are times I just feel like running over them ... LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd trust me, half of them don't even have license, let alone insurance.
Here in KL..not only the driver yang heart attack..me yang sit beside the driver pun boleh kena ooo..
ReplyDeleteGet used with zero traffic jam di Labuan, suddenly macam kena electric shock when come to this land..heheh..
Cuba biasakan diri dulu bah..heheh
Lucky I'm a considerate driver, if not I've to go back to driving school!
ReplyDeletep/s Will honk when:
1. people park behind my car when I 'm about to drive out
2. slow driver driving in the fast lane
3. taking my own sweet time when the light just turned green and driver behind started to honk me like I was too slow (i'm not, I a fast driver! Even faster if I'm late to meetings!)
Omg I am so freaked out by motorbikes! Just last week I saw this car crash into a bike and the dude had so many cuts on his face, blood was dripping everywhere! So scary!
ReplyDeleteCindy - My hates are those who suddenly change lane without signaling and yang suka potong queue, macam dia seja yang mau cepat... grrrr!
ReplyDeleteNick - It's all because of lack of enforcement that these people become so daring, because no one is going to do anything about it. I'd love to see traffic policemen doing their patrols, but I rarely see them doing that :(
ReplyDeleteHi Jiejah! Long time no see :) Lama suda sia inda pigi Labuan, macam suda 10 tahun mangkali.
ReplyDeleteInda lama biasa suda tu... sia dulu macam mau nangis stuck in traffic jams, lama2 sia tida paduli suda, sampat lagi baca buku bah! Hehe
Emila - Tahniah for being a considerate driver! :D
ReplyDeleteI remember driving like mad because I was late to fetch my kids from school... my sons said I drived like an F1 driver!! LOL
Rozella - Wah, you're so brave! If it was me, I don't even want to see... blood and accidents scare the hell out of me!
ReplyDeleteMotorbikers (not all) don't value their lives... the ride like devils just released from hell.
I hate motorbikes since two of my cousins involved in motorbike accidents recently..one died and one was in come and still paralyse now..
ReplyDeleteLuthie - Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. My condolence. I hope the other person who's still in coma recovers soon.
