Chill Out!

You know, I love ice-cream, I mean which girl doesn't ya? But yesterday I actually just couldn't stomach any of it. And it's not cos I didn't like it or anything. I was just too stuffed to the brim with food!

My sister came down last week and I met up with her and a few other cousins last night at Sunway Pyramid. We decided to have dinner at TGIF and we ordered quite a bit of food which I dug into with a vengeance cos I was so hungry waiting for my sister who turned up about 2 hours later than originally planned. They came from KL and were stuck in the infamous KL crawl.

Well, the dinner was fine but when it came time to order desserts, ice cream was the first choice but I was so stuffed by then that I couldn't even put a single spoonful of ice cream in my mouth :*( Note to self :~ Must remember not to eat like a pig anymore before the desserts arrive! But I'm not complaining cos the dinner in itself was pretty good and we didn't even have to pay a single cent for it! *Whopee*

My two boys had a time of their life and the moment they arrived home, they headed straight to dreamland. The amount of ice cream the two of them had, it would have lasted them 2 lifetimes. But I was just too full to eat anything else even though I was craving for the ice cream.

And speaking of ice cream, I wish I could join the Awesome Coldstone Contest that's being organized by Coldstone Creamery. Unfortunately it's only for US residents, which by the way includes both Guam and Puerto Rico as well. And make sure you are between the ages of 13 to 19 years old.

It's a pretty simple and fun contest, all you'd need to do is whip up an ingenious ice cream creation of your own using the ingredients found at any Coldstone Creamery, give it a clever little name and let your family or buddies try it out, then get them to vote for it online. Nothing more to it. I told you it was simple didn't I?

So, kids, what are you waiting for? The contest runs until the 31st of December and with a prize money of USD30,000, why wait, get out there now and start creating already. Who knows, yours could be the winning creation!

  1. Why do these great contests always have to be in the US of A? What about us over here? I'm sure I could whip up an interesting enough ice cream concoction that won't poison anyone ... LOL! And I could use the USD30K ...

TGIF?? Masa mengandung Allie dulu, I so mengidam the chocolate malta cake, kesian lah my husband have to go to subang parade first before flying over to KK. And how he hates going to shopping malls. No matter how small or near it is. LOL!

  22. Marzie ~ I had the Jack Daniel's beef steak, complete with mashed potatoes with cheese, very rich... I couldn't even finish it. The beef was medium well, suggested by the splendid and friendly waiter :)

I actually asked for well done but he said it'll taste like 'selipar' LOL Lucky I listened bcoz the beef was just perfect and yummy. I definitely want to order it again, and I'll make sure I'll order dessert first!

  25. Hi Mattyboy! Welcome to Mumblings :) I live in the tropics so I don't mind having ice cream everyday. If only it doesn't contribute so much to my waist line!

I wonder how Monkey Business ice cream taste like... but I don't fancy bananas though. Now chocolate is my ultimate favorite :D
