I was at church last Sunday waiting for the boys to finish their catechism classes as usual. There was this Eucharist exhibition going on where they were displaying all kinds of miracles happening all over the world, mostly centered around Europe. I have no issues with this but then they made all the kids from various classes walk around reading all these miracles which I found was a little bit silly.
These were kids under the age of 12 and the exhibition items were catered for grown ups and even I found it a tad bit boring let alone these kids. Most of them just went through the motions pretending to look at the pictures with some interest but you can tell they were not the least bit interested!
Well, as for me, I did find a couple of interesting bits of miracles happening around the world in some pretty cool countries such as Budapest which I would love to actually visit and see if these miracles are really true or not. Finding some Budapest Hotels shouldn't be all that hard since I could look it up online. I'm not a person who really believes in miracle until I actually go and see it with my own eyes. And besides Budapest sounds like a lovely country for a holiday :)
And speaking of holidays and all that, since Budapest isn't really all that far away from Austria, it would also be a great if I could drop by and surprise my sister over there. I wouldn't even have to find accommodations cos I could bunk in at her place. But one city I would like to visit when I'm there would be Vienna. I'd probably have to look up for some Vienna Hotels while I'm there cos I wouldn't want to be going up and down from my sisters place in Innsbruck to Vienna.
And with the Euro 2008 going on right now, I could also probably hop over to Geneva, look for some Geneva Hotels and try to catch some of those matches being played by Portugal, which by the way I'm supporting and hoping they win the Euro 2008 :D And I'm so glad they already qualified for the Quarter finals.
Now I could do with a miracle ... maybe a ticket for the finals dropping from the heavens so I could go and watch all those sweaty hunks running around on the field, maybe even get some pictures with those footie hunks! LOL
.
Gimme 5! I support Portugal too. Besides the team has skillful play, Cristiano Ronaldo is there! hehehe...
ReplyDeletePortugal fan huh? Well, good for you, cos I have Portuguese blood in me, though I would have loved to support England, but those good for nothing fellows didn't even qualify so have to support my kinfolk la ... LOL!
