I'm not easily fooled cos I know they had loads of stock when I was there the last time. I managed to find them and quickly grabbed them. These were in pink containers and they were so adorably cute :D
Anyway, I was with with my kids at McD in Summit yesterday and I saw the same mini eraser sets just opposite MPH bookstore, but without the containers. They were selling 3 items (any items) at RM10 which was way cheaper than the ones at Hinode. I prefer them in their proper containers though. But I couldn't resist so I bought the mini erasers in various dumplings shapes... pau, siu mai, fried dumpling, fried rice, a bowl of noodles and a pineapple (an odd one out I'd say).
Last weekend, I decided to do something in my spare time. Apart from doing the weekend house chores, I'm normally quite free since the boys are practically glued to the TV the whole 2 days. I try to make my weekends free from blogging, well, unless I really have assignments due. Money is money and every cent counts.
I wanted to do something which I thoroughly enjoy doing. I love paper crafts, you know shaping, cutting and pasting them on cards. I've done a few already and I made a 'baju kurung' for Maslight (she commented last time she didn't have one for Raya) and the 'size 5 Cinderella shoes' for Flodawn. I don't know if Mas fancies green or even the style of the baju kurung but I hope she likes it, and Flodawn, I told ya I'd 'get' it for ya... it's as close as I could 'make' :)
I don't have a DSLR camera so the picture quality is lousy, sorry about that. The real thing is actually more 3D like. That cheapo camera doesn't really show it all that much no matter how much I try to enhance it. You'll just have to take my word for it... hehehe
Anyway, I'm hoping to make a few more, put them in some nice little frames and maybe if I'm bold enough or rather have the guts to do it, I'll even try and sell them online as custom handmade gifts for people :D But it's a huge step and I'm still experimenting with it though. There's always that fear that no one will buy any of my goods...
.
