I'm not really a sports fan but I do follow certain sports and its teams religiously. I'm a fan of Manchester United and also the Ferrari F1 team. And I've been fans of both of them for so long that I can't even remember when they first became my favorite teams.
Now the thing with trying to catch my favorite teams in action is that sometimes they play matches or in the case of F1, they have races scheduled at ungodly hours! Just a few years ago I used to be able to stay up until the wee hours of the morning just to catch a race or even sneak in a match when Manchester United plays.
And the next morning I'd end up looking like a panda with dark patches under my eyes (not very cute). But I didn't mind staying up and watching them play or race. I am after all a devout fan. But not these days though. I don't have the energy to stay up so late anymore... sighhhh...
But these days with Sportsviews I don't really have to stay up late just to catch my favourite team in action. They're basically a kinda free sports social network that is catered for sports fans. You get to read other members' sports blogs, find loads of football videos for that match that you missed cos you were snoozing away... hehehe
And the best part is, it's all 100% free and it gives you the opportunity to discuss sporting stuff, create your own sports blog (not that I have the time to maintain another blog), share videos or pictures and just about anything that has to do with sports!
And the fun part is you can even start your own little betting syndicate with something known as SV dollars. It's not real money though. It's just something fun where you can make lots of free sports bets and challenge other members and not lose any real money of your own. How cool is that?
And here is the best part. The moment you sign up with sportsviews, you instantly get SV$50,000! Imagine the amount of things you can bet on with that much SV dollars but how I wish that was real money though. That would add a whole new dimension to things... hehehe!
Don't mention Ferrari to me, I'm still reeling from the Hamilton incident. Of all people, they had to give the win to Massa! I hate that guy more than I hate Fernando Alonso, well, maybe the same la ... hehehe ...
ReplyDeleteBut strangely enough, besides being a die hard McLaren fan, I'm a fan of Kimi too, just wish he didn't switch to Ferrari la. Hopefully we'll see another great race between him and Hamilton in urmm, where's the next race ah?
Nick ~ I'm dumbstruck by the harsh penalty, at most they should have just penalized him by docking his position in the next race but not strip his win.
ReplyDeleteSomething smells fishy... and I'm a Ferrari fan you know. I do not like Massa at all!
