I Spy With My Little Eye...

How many of you change eyeglasses like you change your clothes? Most people normally change their eyeglasses every 12 to 24 months but it all depends on how bad one's eyesight has become. If you spend a lot of time on the computer, the need to change your eyeglasses sooner is highly likely.

It's the accepted norm to undergo a routine annual eye check, but I tend to go only when I notice I can't see clearly with my eyeglasses. I know it's bad but I'm trying to max out the lifespan of my eyeglasses :) Prescription eyeglasses are not cheap these days, I had mine changed recently and it cost me close to RM300! And it wasn't even designer eye-wear.

If you need new prescription eyeglasses and you don't have much to spare, have a look at these eyeglasses available at Zenni Optical. All at only $8.00! Yes, $8.00 is all it cost for basic prescription eyeglasses which include :~

*High quality stylish frame
*Thin and light 1.57 index lens
*Anti Scratch Coating
*Full UV protection
*Lens edge polishing and beveling
*Quality Hard eyeglass case
*Microfiber lens cleaning cloth
*Full guarantee

Even Clark Howard raves about Zenni Optical frames! In case you didn't know, Clark Howard is a popular US talk radio host of The Clark Howard Show, a nationally syndicated consumer advocate program.

Check out this frame #3390 in Tortoise shell color. Looks pretty neat, huh :) It's also available in Black/Scarlet and Burgundy Top/Gradient to Pink bottom colors.

  4. before i was a kid, i don't know why i wish to wear a glasses as i always try my cousin's glasses until when i was form 1, that will be the day i'm using glasses and now i know..it was really hard to use a glasses and how i wish my eyes vision is good. now, i don't use glasses but i use contact lens.but i guess using contact lens can make your eyes degree become lesser to increase. since i was form 6 until now.. my contact lense degree is 500(left),550(right)until today and no increase.. but hey that is still higher..hehhe

  12. Thanks for your sharing , Nessa.
I noticed a lot of students start wearing glasses as early as 3 or four. What a pity! Ness, what is your point? How do you protect your children on this issue?
