There Goes My Tea!

.
News in brief...

HONG KONG: ANGLO-Dutch company Unilever has recalled brands of Lipton milk tea powder in Hong Kong and Macau after they were found tainted with an industrial chemical. Unilever Hong Kong has found the chemical melamine in four batches of the powder during its internal testing, the company said in a statement. The Unilever statement said the company was taking the move as a precautionary measure. The Hong Kong Centre for Food Safety called on the public to stop drinking the products concerned. - The Australian

Just when I thought it's safe to sip my tea, I was shocked when I read this today. And I love those 3 in 1 tea. What am I going to drink now?? Isn't there anything safe anymore? We could be eating cookies, chocolates, sweets, etc... all laced with melamine all these years without even realizing it. I am just h-o-r-r-i-f-i-e-d!

I am so pissed with these unscrupulous people playing with innocent people's lives. What's next? I hope it's not my favorite instant noodle mi sedaap. Perhaps I should consider being a vegetarian... But then, one day somebody will say the grass contains melamine too!

I'm so upset. I think I should have a look at these wonderful stainless steel sinks at sinksusa.com. And get this, they sell premium quality sinks at wholesale prices. That's not all coz they have a wide selection of products too ~ kitchen faucets, ceramic sinks, stone sinks, copper sinks... you name it, they have it all! :D
