Giant has done it! Yipee :D
No, no, I'm not talking about a huge monster but Giant Hypermarket. I love it when shops reduce their prices, not just one item but 1,200 items. And this morning when I read papers, I was pleasantly surprised cos Tesco has reduced 60 items of 'everyday food' as well. That is at least some good news for me this morning :D
Now I'm waiting for Mydin and Carrefour to follow suit, and they're expected to do just that next week. Shopping will be pleasurable again, I hope I don't need to bring my calculator anymore cos I've really been watching my expenses down to the last cent! And I hope this time the prices stay down for much longer.
On another note, I'm pissed that food operators are not reducing their food price. Well, good news for me cos I can cook and I won't be patronizing these food shops with exorbitant price. Let's do our part and shun these unscrupulous traders, like Nick mentioned in his post. Just eat home cooked food :D
OK, now that I've got that off my chest, I really need to find out what reverse phone lookup canada really is. Sounds pretty interesting ya. Have a lovely Friday everyone, I know I will be looking forward to shopping this weekend! :D

wuah~ I think we're having steamboat at home again this weekend LOL XD
ReplyDeleteme just ranting in nick's blog just now...and yes, i think i'm going to boycott those food operators soon.Kurang asam betul, minyak sudah turun, tapi masih juga tia mau kasi turun harga!! Tamak oh kan??
ReplyDeleteHe he I read Nick's post too. And yesterday only, we had dinner at this Prawn house near our place.
ReplyDeleteOkay okay, I'll do some cooking la this weekend. ;)
I hardly go to Tesco cause got bad experience before...twice! So dunno la, I think I prefer Giant. :)
ReplyDeleteMydin lagi la!! So far from my home lol! ;)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, at least that's some good news :D Now I can buy my Tesco choc chip cookies cheaper, I hope ... hehehe ...
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the support to boycott eating outside :D
that's good nessa if they reduce the price...i can't wait to eat whatever i like without very concern with the price now...glad they reduce the price especially Giant market..ehehhe...
ReplyDeleteGiant is everywhere!!! I ever overheard a conversation between their staffs that Giant will hit Sarawak, too. Hmmm... still I love Watson. :) But if for barang2lain, memang I go to Giant and good news if they've reduced the prices for some items. :) Can save more. :)
ReplyDeleteMas ~ Wahhh, steamboat!! I haven't had steamboat in ages la. I wonder where in KL has the best steamboat...
ReplyDeleteKadus Mama ~ Ya, we should. We as consumers should unite and show these unscrupulous traders who the 'king or queen' is ya :)
ReplyDeleteMarzie ~ Hehe... no la. It's only for those who reali, crazily hiked up their prices. Can still eat out, some shops price their food reasonably :)
ReplyDeleteNick ~ No probs, these sharks should be boycotted. Let them eat their own food... hehe
ReplyDeleteI love Tesco's rich tea biscuits, very cheap at RM2.50 only :)
Marzie ~ Reali? Aww, that's too bad ya :( So far I haven't had any unpleasant experience at Tesco.
ReplyDeleteGiant is decent, I like the one near Shah Alam stadium, very clean macam Jusco! :D
Sweet Girlicious ~ Oh, me too! :) How I wish I could shop without checking the price tags all the time.
ReplyDeleteMarzie ~ You should go on a weekday to Mydin, less crowds. I've compared my shopping with other hypermarkets and Mydin has the lowest price. But they're not very upscale though. Their food court is clean too :)
ReplyDeleteCrystal ~ Oh, I didn't know there's no Giant in Sarawak! I guess it won't be too long before they open one kan :)
ReplyDeleteI love Watson too :) I buy most of my personal stuff there. The best is their X'mas sale.
