11th leg - Wadi Tanuf ~ Governor of Muscat Office
Drive to Governor of Muscat Office for the next clue
Drive to Said's Camel Farm at Al Abyad and transfer 10 camels into a holding pit for their next clue
Drive to Uber Sands
RoadBlock (only one person may perform task) ~ Who Holds The Key To Your Final Destination?
Travel by taxi to Sam Kong temple for the next clue
'Now Is Not The Time To Chill Out'
Drive to Thai Trade Food Ice Factory at Siray Island and search through a barrel of shaved ice to locate an ice cube without tipping or lifting the barrel.
Drive to Lam Hin Pier for the next clue
Take a traditional Thai long tail fishing boat out to the waters (Cape Yabu) and search for a floating fisherman to get the next clue
Detour
Pull ~ Kayak to an oyster farm in Rang Yai and locate a marked oyster shell among 900 lines of oyster tied to the farm and return to the shore to exchange the shell with the next clue
or
Plunge ~ Dive into the waters and search the sea floor for a giant clamshell. Take the pearl inside the clamshell, return to the shore to exchange the shell with the next clue
Within a marked area in Rang Yai beach, dig for a buried treasure chest
The 1st team to place their treasure chest on the mat at the final Pit Stop wins the race
Vince & Sam (Hong Kong) ~ Winner
Geoff & Tish (The Philippines) ~ 2nd
Ida & Tania (Malaysia) ~ 3rd
That's it peeps, the end of The Amazing Race Asia 3.
I must say I'm a bit disappointed with the final task given at the last leg, it seemed too easy. It would have been better to have a task similar to the one they gave during TARA2.
Now that the race is over, I can concentrate on Heroes 3 :)

- Use a metal detector to locate one of seven special keys to open the clue box. The are 70 keys buried in the sand.

ReplyDeleteDrats and double drats. It was already bad enough that I had to miss the finals and it was even worse knowing Ida & Tania didn't win. But at least it wasn't Geoff and Tisha. It would have been a disaster if they won. But congrats to the winner anyway :D

ReplyDeleteOh Ida Nerina & partner couldn't make it... USD100,000 is a lot to spend. This shows these HK boys have mutual understanding to overcome all hurdles. Congrats to them!
