.
My day started off quite early. As usual on a Sunday, we head to church for the kids' Sunday classes. But not before having a hearty breakfast.
The boys tend to get whiny on empty stomachs so they must be fed above everything else cos when they're whiny they make mommy lose her temper. And losing my temper on Sunday morning is not something I need. I'm quite an impatient person but at the same time, I can also be a very patient person if I want to. I know... it's contradictory :)
I had a meeting with the boys Sunday school teachers today. The usual stuff, talking about the kids progress and I even got ticked off for not bringing my kids to church regularly. While I admitted it was partly my fault, ok, it was largely my fault but hey, I think it's between me and God whether I want to attend church every Sunday, once a month, once a year even once a century! If I'm to be thrown into the darkest pits of hell, then so be it.
I hate being lectured... first of all, I'm not a 16 year old girl. I'm doing my best for my kids, and one of them happens to be a special child. It's not easy juggling life in the city. She doesn't know even 1% of my life so I couldn't be bothered. So, masuk telinga kiri... keluar telinga kanan. I just smiled throughout and anxiously waited till she finished talking (for close to 10 minutes!). But I did feel like decking the teacher anyway!
Here's this week's paper cutting... the theme is 'Home Sweet Home'.
Hi Nessa, it's my second time here. :) I came with a request.
ReplyDeleteWould you like to write a post about Crafty Heart, my online craft store in exchange of EC credits? I'm looking for Sabahan bloggers. Let me know! :)
-Debbie :)
I'm surprised you kept your cool at being lectured. I would have told the person off!
ReplyDeleteOh, that paper cutting looks pretty cool and difficult to do. Nice one :D
Stay cool Nessa & I'm sure you always do since I saw colorful paper cut crafts every now & then. That's pretty arts!
ReplyDeletePhatelara ~ Hi Debbie! Welcome to Mumblings! I hope to see you around here more often ya :)

Mat Dingo ~ Oh, I was cool on the outside but inside, I was seething la... she reminds me of my teacher, one I hated so much.
ReplyDeleteI knew she meant well but she could have said it in a different and proper way, not in a reprimanding kind of way.
You think so? Thanks! :D
Dora ~ Don't worry, I'm cool now :D I try to make the paper cuttings once a week, it has become a hobby now... hehe
