A couple of months back, I was reading Emila's blog about her collection of Beatrix Potter books. I've never heard of Beatrix Potter before. Then, a few months later I managed to catch the movie 'Miss Potter'. It was indeed a lovely and beautiful story and it made me want to read her books. But then I got caught up with work and family that I totally forgotten about it.
... ONCE upon a time there were four little Rabbits, and their names were-- Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, and Peter. They lived with their Mother in a sand-bank, underneath the root of a very big fir tree.
"NOW, my dears," said old Mrs. Rabbit one morning, "you may go into the fields or down the lane, but don't go into Mr. McGregor's garden: your Father had an accident there; he was put in a pie by Mrs. McGregor."...
I was hooked! I have yet to finish reading it. I'm so glad to find out about this great site. Try it for yourself. You can search pdf, rtf, doc, ppt or even txt formats.
