There are close to 52 or even more channels (I can't really be sure anymore) on ASTRO (a local satellite TV provider) at any one time. Just how many channels does one really watch? It's not like we can watch simultaneous channels at one go right? So practically half the time we're actually paying for a lot of channels that we only watch once in a while and some that we don't even watch at all.
Take myself for instance. I only watch a handful of channels, namely AXN, Star World, AFC, the movie channels and that's about it. Of course the kids will clamor for their cartoon channels. The rest of the channels just go to absolute waste. I wish we could just pay for only the channels that we watch regularly. That would be awesome wouldn't it?
Actually you have a point la, why can't we just pay for the channels that we watch, that would save us a lot of money right? Waste money paying for the other useless unwatched channels ...

my kids hogging the remote all the time..Seeing Ben 10 logo anywhere makes me wanna puke already.. :P

ReplyDeleteYoon See ~ Same here Yoon See. But I make sure I watch my favorite programs, mainly from 8pm to about 11pm. I have no chance during the weekends cos that's when the kids hog the remote.
ReplyDeleteKhemy ~ Same here Khemy tapi I dah cancel the cartoon channels. I tak subscribe except the free ones from the locals TV stations, Astro Ceria and Animax.
