The Amazing Race 15 : Comedic Duo

Flight Time and Big Easy totally crack me up on last night's The Amazing Race episode! These two should be given their own show, they're natural born clowns I tell ya. Every time I look at their faces, they remind me of my favorite comedian ~ Chris Rock! biggrin

My kids and I couldn't stop laughing watching the two of them. From the dinghy episode down to the briefcase, everything these two do just spells disaster. But I was amazed with their Math skill though. That was truly genius of them to borrow a calculator when the rest just didn't think of asking for one.

For a while I forgot I was even watching a race, it was like watching a funny movie with Flight Time and Big Easy as the lead actors. I'm praying they won't get eliminated next week. I love it whenever they mention their catch phrase 'Do it for the hood, do it for the hood!'

I feel pity for Mika... she was really terrified. It's sad to see them being eliminated that way but it's a race and that's the way it goes. But I what I don't get is why she even bothered to join when she knows what's in store in a race like this. I suppose $1 million dollars was not enticing enough for her. Poor Canaan... ahhh well...

Can't wait for next week's episode... the Globetrotters sure look like they're having a ball dancing with those costumes on! laugh

  1. I totally agree. Everyone on this season of the race is mostly likeable, so it could almost be boring. You know, no one to hate and boo.

Except those two are so funny and entertaining. Last night was great.

I just read your comment - you are so funny!! I saw the paper outside the box and threw it back in immediately...but it wasn't to be...oh well ;-)

btw, I didn't know your sister lives in Austria. That's great. Have you ever visited? Does she speak Austrian/German?

We don't have this TV show here in Germany, but I caught a few episodes in the hotel in Hong Kong. It really is funny :)

    have a super day!

  8. Lucky break for Flight Time and Big Easy in the last episode! Had Mika swallowed her fear of heights and took the plunge, they were the ones eliminated. I also like these two and here's hoping they will end up in one of the top 3 :)

  9. I've never watched that show. For some reason I can't seem to get interested in those types of programs. But then I don't watch much tv at all anymore.

  10. How could Mika join the Amazing Race when she is afraid of heights AND water??? Nearly every race has both of those and lots of 'em!

  13. Hi Vixen! Welcome to Mumblings :)

Yeah, the remaining teams are pretty nice people. I was happy Lance & Keri got eliminated earlier, they were my least favorite.

  20. Hi Lara! Welcome to Mumblings :)

Too bad for Mika, they had 45 minutes lead. I thot she would do it, she almost did. She would probably regret that moment, it was her chance to conquer her fear of heights.

  21. Ann ~ Not your cup of tea I suppose :) I love reality shows but not all of them though. I used to watch Survivor but I got bored with it after 5 or 6 seasons. Soon I'd be glued to the TV watching the American Idol! :D

  22. Lin ~ She probably thought she would be able to all the tasks... when you're all eager to join, you're game for anything but when it's time to do it, it's a different thing altogether :)

The Amazing Race always has tasks that include heights, water, eating bugs and creepy crawlies... one should at least prepare for such things.

  23. Mama Mia ~ Iya, memang lucky for the Globetrotters kan. Sia kesian sama si Mika tapi gerigitan pun ada juga.

  24. Dora ~ I love Marty too! And Gloria... and Alex... and the penguins!! Semua la... hehehe
