The Elimination

I'm going to write about American Idol, the current season. I can sense some are rolling their eyes already... hahaha. I'm a great fan of the show so I can't help but write about it ya.

Those of you who have not seen nor known the results of the elimination had better not read on as I may spoil it for you so stop right now you hear.

Honestly, I am so glad Joe Munoz is out. I don't know why I can't stand him. It's really the first time I've watched a contestant and not liking him because something about him bugs me. LOL! I'm not sure why Tyler got eliminated so early in the show... yeah, he may be a bit old style but he's groovy. Poor guy!

As for the girls, I expected Paige Miles because she had the least screen time but I was way off the mark. Simon said she has the best voice compared to the other girls but it was horrible, her song choice didn't make any impact to me as a fan of the show. Ashley Rodriguez played it too safe and she didn't leave an impression. I totally didn't expect her to be voted off though. But we still have Michelle Delamor. They do look and sound rather alike, don't you think?

My only prediction that came true was Janell Wheeler. I didn't fancy Janell because she looked kinda fake to me... how do I know? Hard to say. Sometimes you can tell when you observe a person... their facial expressions. Whoaaa... I sound as if I'm such a pro! LOL!

When it comes to reality shows, everyone automatically becomes a judge. It comes naturally. Since you have to vote for someone and if you really have to vote one person out of 24 people sometimes those little things matter. I find Jermaine Sellers kinda cocky with his attitude for reprimanding that Michael guy during the Hollywood week. So he doesn't get any brownie points, no votes from me. Think of how many people having the same opinion like me... Jermaine has to learn to be humble. Just sing and don't be a diva.

I'm glad Lacey and Siobhan pulled enough votes to make them stay on for another week. The girls are a talented bunch this year cos I have a few favorites unlike the previous seasons. I don't know why the contestants keep singing songs that don't suit them. Perhaps I should be a song selector specialist... maybe I can make big bucks.

It bugs me when some websites are saying the producers have chosen a girl to win this season. I hope it's not true. They shouldn't tamper nor try to influence voters on whom to vote. This automatically reminds me of the current political scenario in this country. Sad and pathetic. Ish... what la? Tiba-tiba terswitch topic pula. OK la, enough from me. My laundry is waiting...
