The Importance Of Wellness

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of wellnessdaily.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

I've been feeling rather sluggish lately. Getting headaches, toothaches, back pain, insomnia, and feeling depressed. I realized I have been putting on weight steadily ever since I moved to KL in 2006. Having to deal with stress and other personal issues contributed to the binge-eating and deteriorating health.

I have been telling myself over and over again to take care of myself and to watch what I eat. It really is a struggle though. One day I'll succeed but the next day I'd succumbed to temptation, eating several cupcakes in one sitting which I know is bad for my health, especially for a woman at my age (nearing the big four zero next year). I'm not afraid of aging but I want to be healthy and be able to see my kids all grown up and have families of their own. What I fear most is falling sick and having to depend on others to take care of me.worried

So it was timely that I found this website, www.wellnessdaily.com, a comprehensive, online one-stop-shop for weight loss, healthy eating, exercise and mental well-being articles, blogs, healthy recipes and videos. I like the simplicity of the site and its contents. Find Balance, Eat Right and Stay Fit are definitely my favorites. Don't worry if you don't get to read the latest updates as they are on Twitter and Facebook too.

'Prevention is better than cure' is an overused phrase but proven to be true. I can complain all day about my weight but if I don't do anything about it, then I'm to be blamed. I tend to be critical of myself which is unhealthy. In life, we are sure to stumble and fall; the best thing to do is to get up and start all over again. Errr... wish me luck ya.biggrin

Lastly, I'd like to wish all my Christian friends and readers a blessed Easter.

  2. Yes, this s a very useful website for health and wellness. Although it sounds like a cliche, it is true. Prevention is better than cure. You ever notice how a diagnosis can call for a particular treatment - medication- but that med could cause other illnesses or breakdown of other parts or organs. Try to stay away for having to treat something especially what is preventable. Its a tough job but thank goodness for help like wellnessdaily.com. Thanks Nessa for the post.

  3. I like a lot of sweet treats too. My weakness are donuts and cupcakes. Which is ruining my teeth.. not that i have much of them in the first place *LOL*

When you give yourself a treat.. eat 1 cupcake. Don't overbuy. Just buy enough for each member of the family. 1 each.

My father says... Before you get to the bridge, don't worry too much. When you get to the bridge... then you figure out how to cross it.

Philly ~ I agree. I took antibiotics a couple of months ago and it caused me severe itch! I had no idea it was the medication I took, thinking I was allergic to something I ate. Thanks for dropping by :)

Anny ~ Blame this sweet tooth of mine la... hehe. It's dem hard to resist, I reali have to tell myself dat sugar is poison.

LOL! I think if the dentist takes out all my decayed teeth, I'll probably have only 2 or 3 healthy ones left :D

Yeah, me worries a lot. I can't help it... it's bad!!

Thanks so much Anny. You berry nice to me, I feel better oredi... ((hugs))
