First of all, my apologies to my top 10 droppers for April as I won't be publishing the list this time around and May will be the last month I am having the EntreCard widget on my sidebar. I just don't like 'being forced' to feature way too many advertisers (who aren't bloggers) on the EC widget.
Thank you to all who have genuinely purchased my ads on EC. I will honor all ads bought until May 31st. I have met so many wonderful bloggers via EC and I will continue to visit them, most are already in my Google reader so I won't miss any of your posts.
I still have quite a bit of credits so I might be splurging on buying some ads or perhaps donate them. If you need some credits, just leave me a message on EC.
Sorry to see you leave EC. I have been thinking about it also. Give me more time to right comments. I'll still be visiting.
ReplyDeleteGrampy ~ I feel sad but I can't keep up checking on the sponsor ads... way too many of them. My dropping rate has really dwindled and I see no reason why I should keep the widget anymore. Appreciate your visits.. will continue visiting you too :D

I'm on the verge of quitting EC too. I just don't have the time to drop like before. Besides, I agree with your point about all those unwanted ads. They're annoying. It's my blog and I want to be able to control the ads I can show.

ReplyDeleteGood day to you young lady. I have a suggestion. Try replacing that EC widget with a adgitize one. You can do it for free and just check on it and watch your stats and see if it is good for you.

ReplyDeleteAnn ~ You're definitely spot on with 'losing the enthusiasm' part. I used to drop 300 max daily. Now seeing all the unwanted ads on my widget, I just don't like it. I hate having to check the advertisers every now and then and most of them aren't true bloggers, just there to promote their product. Sigh...

ReplyDeleteI still have the widget on my other blogs but rarely drop. I simply put the widget at the end of the blogs. So if anyone wants still to drop, they can but shouldn't expect me to drop back ;)
