I just returned from vacation. It's the first one I've had without my kids, without visiting relatives, and that lasted more than a long weekend, in 15 years.

The snow and cold are OK in the right amounts. Last year we had a couple of weeks right around 0 F (-18c) which is uncommon and too cold.
