Technology, wow. I was sitting at my PC this morning and browsing the web for some information on baking. I didn't give it a second thought at how easy I was able to get information on baking and the amount of information I got was phenomenal. By the time I was through browsing, I had enough information on hand that I could become a professional baker... LOL!
Yes, technology has made life so much simpler for us. Imagine back in the days when the internet was an unheard of word. Imagine how hard it would have been for me to actually find stuff about baking. Well, I could go and maybe buy some magazines or books but those things cost a lot of money and my family really weren't rolling in money.
Even when it comes to work, I totally rely on technology to get by everyday. There are so many sites out there offering loads of content sharing that it boggles the mind. Just to prove a point, I Googled 'content management' and I found loads of great sites but one site that caught my eye was epazz.com. I'm no technical or computer geek mind you but even I with my limited knowledge in IT could tell that they provide some good service:)
What they do is actually to provide cool enterprise level tools that you can easily utilize for creating, managing, organizing, archiving and even sharing content. Imagine with their portal software you can create information and content that your organization can deliver to it's customers in various forms such as emails, polls, documents, web pages and even RSS feeds.
The best thing is if you're not really sure whether this is the thing for you, you can always sign up for their 30 day risk free trial of their BoxesOS and see how easily it works for you. You'd really be amazed at their in-depth personalization of workflow right down to the end-user level. While it might not be feasible for someone like me who doesn't own my own business but for someone who already own his own business and is thinking of expanding even further, this just might do the trick.
But I'm way out of my expertise level here on this one, so I'd recommend heading over to their website and see for yourself how much of help they can be to your organization or business. And when your organization become a huge success, remember you heard from here first:)
Gee, I have no idea what this post is all about but I just felt like leaving a comment here ... LOL! I'm just like you, technologically challenged too .. hehehe ...
