Baseball is big in the US. Almost every movie (family oriented ones) would show the game. Looking at the game, it reminds me of 'Rounders' which I used to play with my classmates back when I was 10! You need a bat and a ball... the object of the game is to hit the ball as far as you can and score points when your team members managed to complete a run. Sound similar to baseball ya.
I wonder why it's not popular in Malaysia. Football is huge here (soccer as the Americans call it) but it's the opposite in the US, it did get some publicity when David Beckham joined LA Galaxy. I wish he never left Manchester United though:( It's the club that made him who he is! Well, in football it's all about the money...
I'm sure I will enjoy baseball if only I have a chance of watching it 'live'. The roar of the enthusiastic crowd will definitely get me into the groove... So does anyone has any Spring Training Tickets for the Red Sox to spare? It would be awesome if someone sponsored me airplane tickets complete with hotel accommodation! Yeah... I know I'm dreaming for the moon, can't blame a girl for dreaming can you? ;)

Oh I remember that rounders game. I used to play it back in school. I think it didn't catch on cos not so glamorous like football la.

Baseball is big here, but so is football and basketball, but not even with David Beckham do Americans really give a rip about soccer.
