How many of you still send postcards to your friends and relatives these days? I know I haven't for the past decade or so. I am also very picky when it comes to selecting the right postcards. Some of the postcards out there are so plain and uninspiring. And what would you say to Wooden postcards? Wooden what?
Well, I've just found out that there is such a thing as Wooden postcards. As the name implies, it's a postcard made of wood (duh! But of course!). Now, with Wooden postcards, you can draw or rather hand carve your own postcards. It's easy to carve the message directly on it and personalize it to your hearts content even. These Wooden postcards are so much more personal and give a much more lasting impression to your loved one.
Besides, they can be great display items as well. Most of the times when I do actually get a postcard, I normally just keep them in my drawer of something. But with these Wooden postcard, you could like put them up on your shelf or display cabinet, even as a desk ornament cos they're in a class of their own. You know the amount of times you've carved a heart shape with the name of your loved on a tree or something and hoping that your loved one will see it, well, with these Wooden postcards, you can just mail that heart carvings to you loved one yourself :D I bet that'll score you some good points... hehehe.
Now, the only thing is I wonder if our local postal service people will actually accept these Wooden postcards!
