I've been looking at my hands and realized they're no longer as smooth and soft as they once were. Ok, I'm not as young as I used to be but that doesn't give my hands the reason to go all rough in me, right? Well, it's not exactly rough but it could be a lot more softer though.
I think it all boils down to washing dishes. Yes, washing dishes. The two boys don't really help me with the washing of dishes after their lunch or dinner. They just know how to eat and them dump all the dishes in the sink for mommy to wash. What do they take me for? A maid? LOL! Besides, even if I ask them to wash up, they'll do such a lousy job that I have to do it all over again. Sometimes I think it's a ploy by them to get out of washing the dishes! I do have this compulsive habit of wiping the sink until they're totally dry.
So, I'm left with cooking and washing all the dishes and I think the dish washing liquid I use reacts badly with my hands. I suppose I could use rubber gloves while washing but they're so troublesome. Imagine every time I wash the dishes I'd have to put them on. Ugghhh, what a bother. Besides, when water runs into them, they become so yucky.
Now, if I had me one of those cool dishwasher, that would be awesome. In fact, it would be more than awesome, it would be fantabulous :) I would have to even get my hands wet, I could just dump all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and let it do the job for me while I go paint my nails or something... hehehe. I've always wanted one actually but they're a little expensive for my budget. I suppose I could try to save up and maybe in a couple of years or so (LOL) I probably could afford one for myself. But I think by then my hands would resemble a sandpaper!

My hand also kasar bah.. I think it's in my gene. Terikut my dad's gene.. my mom's hand are sooo smooth tho. But it's good also lah. Whenever people saw my hand, they thought it's due to me being hardwork at home, doing all the chores konon. Padahal... LOL!
ReplyDeleteI have moisturizer at the office so that when I wash my hands I can use it aferwards. It is so important to moisturize and sometimes I just forget to do it (in the morning)

ReplyDeleteThere was once...me and my girl friend were meeting this one guy for the first time...when we met, he shook my hand and my friend. After that...he straight forward said to us..."sia mau test siapa tangan halus bah. Si carol punya tangan kasar oh"..Cilaka!
