I'd like to wish everyone who celebrates CNY a very happy and prosperous Chinese New Year!
What I love best about CNY is getting those wonderful angpows (Red packets containing money, yes, real money!), I may not be eligible already but both my kids do and I get to keep their angpows :D Oh, the joys of being a mother... it's the only time of the year that I wish I had 10 kids! LOL
Unfortunately, we're unable to go back to my hometown for the festivities where we have relatives and friends who are generous angpow givers. Hopefully we'll be able to go back next year and claim all those angpows (I wonder if we can claim for the previous year's angpows)... hehehe.
You all may be aware that this is a Rat year. Based from what I've read on the net, the year of the Rat symbolizes opportunity and good prospects. Business in general is forecast as being good. The good news is that anything that begins in the year of the Rat will be successful :)
Whether you're a believer or not, let's hope the Rat year brings great things and less misfortune. So people, go and start something already...

ReplyDeleteyes..the only wish i have when hari raya or chinese year to have 15 kids..coz during that time im super rich..wakakak.not that i used all their money...just a bit la..kekeke..i went shopping with them bought them branded cloths and toys...hehehe...as for the balance masuk bank ler..hehehe..tu pun if ndak masuk tempat lain dulu wakakak

ReplyDeleteMy eldest son doesn't reali know the value of money, so he gives all the $ to me. My youngest son on the other hand, will keep all in his tabung. Tiada chance la mau pakai! LOL
