Online Purchasing Phobia

You know, for as long as I've been blogging and checking out online sites and doing reviews and stuff about all kinds of gadgets out there, I've never for the life of me purchased anything online yet. Can you believe that? Strange, right?

I've always been afraid to actually buy anything online. Yeah, call me old fashioned but I'm afraid of losing all my money to some technical glitch or maybe the goods I buy don't really reach me. But I think maybe I should really lose this old fashioned thoughts. Maybe it's time I actually brave myself up and purchase something online.

I've seen a few stuff that I really like while browsing and it's not available here in Malaysia. The only way I'm going to get it is to purchase it online. And another thing, I don't know how to purchase online (*blush*). Shameful isn't it? And you guys can stop laughing at me already :D

Well, you know what, I'm going to try and do it soon. I saw this lovely product that I simply must have and it's not available here so I'm going to have to steel myself up and do my first online purchase. I was browsing this site called 1 Coupons that have a variety of stores offering great promotions, coupons and discounts. They've got a lot of merchants in their stable that you could chose from, for instance if you're into computers, the you can always do some discount computer shopping at Dell, BestBuy.com, CircuitCity.com, New Egg and Tiger Direct. And you'd be able to find lots of promotions and deals that would suit your taste.

As for me, after browsing through their site I came across this lovely cone luminaries for my patio. I just love the effect they're going to give my place when nightfall comes around. I might even use it as a garden path, imagine walking around the garden with it all around. It'll seem like a fairy tale. Now if only my garden was big enough for it... hehehe ... The other thing that I absolutely must have is a Dyson vacuum cleaner. I've been eyeing those things for ages now. It's really the coolest vacuum cleaner I've seen, especially the Dyson DC07 All Floors Origin Upright Vacuum, now that is one piece of magnificent work. Ever since I first set my eye on it, I just have to own it.

All that said and done, I hope when it really comes down to me actually purchasing the products online, I'll have to guts to go through with it all the way. Even now, after admitting to the whole world about my fear for online purchasing, I'm still in two minds about it. I know a lot of you guys have purchased things online before but I'm still apprehensive. I guess once I make my first purchase and nothing goes wrong with it, I'll probably be convinced and who know I just might like it and purchase everything in sight... hehehe!
