The War Has Begun...

... the flag wars, that is!

On my way home from church this morning, the sprouting of flags caught my youngest boy by surprise...

Son: Mummy, what's with the flags? Is there a celebration going on?

Me: Urmm... it's Nomination Day for the Elections... (explains in detail)

Son: I don't understand!

Me: You'll know when you're older...

The election is due in 2 weeks' time. Unfortunately, I will not be able to cast my vote as I need to go back all the way to my hometown in Sabah to do that. I am thinking of going back during the school holidays so the timing is not right... darn! But I was told the election fever back home is not as intense as it is here in KL...
