Don't Be A Chicken...

My eldest son used to just eat sausages and nothing else. He is scared to try anything other than sausages until one day I ran out of sausages and made him fried chicken instead. I told him, it was either he ate the fried chicken or starve... hehehe (I can be a mean mom when I want to). I guess he was too hungry to complain... beggars can't be choosers they say :)

Since then, he has learned to eat fried chicken. The thing is he only eats it when it's fried. Well, at least that's a big improvement. I know it's unhealthy to fry stuff all the time so I turned to the web for help, where else :) I found hundreds of chicken recipes at ChickenRecipesWeb.com. There 12 different categories of chicken recipes including fried chicken recipes, chicken pot pies, baked chicken recipes and of course chicken wing recipes. Remember, everything tastes like chicken, so make sure your chicken tastes great!

Now if only I can start to get him to eat more vegetables...

  2. So cute how he only eats fried chicken. Let's hope he doesn't turn out like a friend of mine. She only eats lauk chicken and rice, no fish, beef, vege or anything else, boleh? No wonder she's skinny! ;)

I think when I have kid of my own, I'll introduce vegetables before meat to them. Hopefully they'll prefer vege over chicken. LOL!

  5. You know what a great idea is? Using purees! Steam or bake your veges then puree them and add them into anything and everything. You can't even tell the difference. For real!
