Wash Your Hair With Paper!

You'd probably say 'yeah, right!' but it's really true. Of course you can't simply use plain paper coz it won't work no matter how hard you try :)

Definitely ideal for traveling and camping, there's no need to bring heavy bottles nor worry about spills. I remember an incident a year back when I went home to Sabah for the holidays, the shampoo bottle's cap somehow got unscrewed and all the contents spilled out!

Luckily I had the presence of mind to put the shampoo in a plastic bag first, imagine if I didn't... it would have spilled out all over my precious jewelry and clothes, not forgetting my bundles of money! Nah! Just kidding :D

These paper shampoos would sure come in handy to avoid just such a situation. And if you're wondering, they even have things such as paper soap, laundry paper soap and paper shaving cream!! The things they come up with amazes me everyday.

  1. Yeah Right! LOL! Just kidding :D

I'm amazed they actually have shampoo made of paper. It's the first I've ever heard of this but it does sound like a cool idea though.

Do they come in different scents? And are they anti-dandruff, not that I have dandruff mind you ... LOL!

And the paper shaving foam sounds like something I could do with :D

  4. whoa! paper shampoo! the only other kind of shampoo i've heard about that is not liquid is "dry shampoo' and that's like a powdery substance!

i suppose all the way you use all these paper stuff is just to rub them on your hair, face, body, shirt, etc. and then throw it away.

  9. Roz, who DOESN'T pack their shampoo in plastic before putting it in their suitcase? hahahaa...

Nessa, this would come in handy for those confinement times! LOL! I don't know which one is better.. the powder waterless ones or this one. Is it environmental friendly? Maybe people should start using this so can jimat jimat and jimat! hahahaha..

  15. Perry ~ I've tried dried shampoo but I didn't like it. My hair didn't feel clean la :(

Actually, you use it like you would with normal shampoo (according to the site). Too bad they don't have paper conditioner.

  16. Dominion ~ Nope, it's no April Fool joke :D

The paper will dissolve in water, even sea water! Cool eh? I hope the local stores have this. Definitely a must buy for me.

  20. Shemah ~ Oh ya, very true. It's a torture not being allowed to wash hair during confinement. I HAVE to wash my hair everyday cos it's super duper oily. So, I'm actually making the shampoo companies rich! They should reward me la... hehe

I prefer this to the powdery ones. Shampooing without water just doesn't feel clean bah.
