Music To My Ears

I had the scare of my life yesterday. There I was with my trusty old MP3 player stomping my feet and shaking my head away merrily while listening to one of my numerous songs that I've uploaded in the player when all of a sudden everything goes blank on me.

Darn it! The battery has conked out. This happens to me quite frequently cos I always forget to charge the thing. Well, not really forget, more like too lazy to charge it . So I took the player and plugged it into my PC's USB port and waited for the screen message that shows 'battery charging in progress'. But nothing appeared. Not a single thing. I pulled the player out and inserted it into the USB port again but still nothing .

That's when I started to panic. Now it doesn't look like the battery got discharged cos normally plugging it in the PC would elicit some form of activity but not today. I tried pressing all the buttons and nothing happened. Not a whimper of sound nor movement. Don't tell me, the blooming player shorted out already. I just bought it a few months ago and it's a nice reputable Samsung player too!

What's worse is the fact that I spent countless hours downloading all my favorite songs and I don't even have a back up of a single song. How on earth am I going to find them again?? I can't even remember the sites I went to download the songs. I was fuming inside!

I wasn't too bothered about the player. I was more concerned about the songs. The hours I spent searching for them. Looks like I was going to have to find a nice reputable site again just get back all the songs I have in the player and I have tons of them mind you. Good thing I had the common sense to check the Samsung website before flushing the player down the toilet bowl. All it needed was a hard reset and everything was fine again. All my songs were intact
