The Plain Jane

When it comes to fashion, I'm definitely not a fashionista. I do not really follow the latest trends, heck if you asked me what's the in style these days, I'm pretty clueless .

I am a casual dresser so most of the time you'll see me in T-Shirts and jeans. For formal events, I'd prefer to wear pants and tops and I'd stick to natural colors such as brown, black or gray. I rarely wear colorful outfits because I'd feel uncomfortable. In fact my whole wardrobe consists of nothing but either earthy colors of black, brown and gray. I guess I'm all for comfort rather than style. Besides, I prefer to be under the radar so wearing something like a shocking pink fluorescent top is definitely a no-no for me .

Once, I even went to this upscale shopping mall dressed in faded T-shirt, loose shorts and slippers! I've never felt out of place when I saw all the shoppers were dressed to the nines but I kept a straight face anyway. But that doesn't mean I don't like to be stylish. Given the chance (maybe after a makeover and 20kg lighter), I would love to wear something more daring and up-to-date, something like this dress.

I know it's quite revealing, something I have never, ever worn before. Would I have the guts? I don't know but I do love the style and the feminine cutting.
