Have you ever heard of Detective Conan? It is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. The story follows the adventures of Shinichi Kudo, a prodigious young detective who was inadvertently transformed into a child after being poisoned. It's kinda like a whodunit type of story.The comic book I'm reading is in Bahasa Malaysia, but the way it is translated, I think it is mixed with Bahasa Indonesia as well. I was drawn into reading it when I saw my sons watching the animated series on TV. They just love the show and now they've turned me into a fan too! LOL!
So far I already have 5 books in my collection. Thank goodness it only cost RM4.90 and I don't have to find tons of gold bullion just to pay for it... hehe. The books come in parts and right now I'm stuck at episode 9 as I couldn't seem to find episode 10. I'm not the kind to just skip episodes so I'm still going to have to hunt around for it. Just goes to show how popular this comic book is.
I read other types of books too... chick lit, mysteries, cookbooks. Do you read comics?
