The Magnificent 7

Today is 07.07.07. It's a one in a lifetime experience. So, do you have any plans on this auspicious day? You may want to since you won't be around at the next 07.07.07, which will be in 3007 (hopefully the world will still be around then)! As for me, I had a 2.00am supper at A&W!! And you'd be surprised at the amount of people awake and hungry at that time...

Here are some interesting and fun tidbits associated with the number 7:-
  • 7 directions: north, south, east, west, up, down and centre.
  • 7 is the maximum number of eclipses of the Sun and Moon that can occur in any one year.
  • 7 wonders in the ancient world.

  • 7-Up was invented in America in the 1920s by Mr CL Griggs.

  2. Whoa Nessa, the amount of stuff that you found out about the number 7 is so mind boggling! I never knew that there were so many things about the number 7 out there. I especially didn't know that the founder of 7-11 is a bloody giant. LOL!

  13. Urban legend?

    I read that the name came from the fact that the first stores were projected to be opened from 7am to 11pm. Hence the name.
