Perhaps this is just a gimmick, I'm not sure. But is there any difference in the taste of the teas picked by humans or monkeys? The squirrels could have picked those teas for all we know... hehehe
Quoted from ThinkGeek:
"Nowadays the practice of monkeys picking tea has all but died out, except in one small remote village where they still continue this remarkable tradition. No monkeys are harmed or mistreated in order for us to bring this rare brew to you!
The legendary flavor is something that can only be tasted to be believed. Monkey Picked Tea is truly in a class by itself. Full of antioxidants, this tea will calm your soul, temper your spirit, and put you in divine touch with your monkey ancestors."
I don't know if any of my ancestors were related to monkeys... but I know some relatives of mine do act like monkeys at times... hmmm...
Want a cuppa, head to ThinkGeek!

ReplyDeleteHi Nessa, new header I see? Have a great Monday! :):):)
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the title for this post it made me think of an episode of Bizarre Foods: Andrew Zimmerman . Although this isn't as bizarre as the coffee Andrew Drank, while in Vietnam, called civet-cat coffee (coffee made from beans that have been eaten by a civet cat, then pooped out, gathered, dried and roasted).
ReplyDeleteLets hope that's not what they mean by "Monkey Picked Tea".
