No Place Like Home

I've been living in my current home for way too long. I think I need a change of scenery, a refreshing new outlook in life. I mean I've no complains about living where I am but sometimes a change of scenery can be a good thing. Then again, it can also be a bad thing, if you get crappy neighbours living next to you.

But to be honest, I don't think I'm going to be relocating anytime soon. It's not like it's an easy thing to do anyway. First of all, I'd probably have to find a good real estate to find a nice new neighbourhood for me within the price range I could afford. But then moving to another area is basically just like the same thing, the scenery is going to be the same, the people are still going to be the same kind of people.

Now if I were to really relocate, I'd love to move to somewhere far away with a totally new environment and lifestyle, say some place like Florida, New York or maybe even Texas, then I could probably take up a job as a cowgirl or something... yeehaaw... :D

If I did want to do something as drastic as that, I'm sure I'll be able to look up online for some decent Florida real estate agents, New York real estate agents and even a cowboy like Texas real estate agent. But then who am I kidding, I'd probably miss home if I did move away so far. Right now, even living in the same country but in a different state and I'm homesick everyday. So it looks like I'm going to be staying out for now.

  1. Oh, I have to agree, there is no place like home, especially the place you grew up in. Unfortunately the place I grew up in has changed so much that I hardly recognize it any longer.

  3. MD - I guess everything changes with time. Even a small puny tree can grow into a giant one after 20 years! Aiseyman... bukan main lagi talk big! Hehehe

I just miss the kampung life, I used to dislike it but living in a hectic and unfriendly city makes you want to run home and dance in the padi field! LOL
