How much do you pay for your food these days? With the hike of fuel prices and whatnots, you'll be lucky to pay for RM4.00 on food alone at food shops (not restaurants).
So, it was surprising to read about this food shop in Alor Star, Kedah selling food (fried kuetiaw, noodle soup, rice, etc.) at believe it or not... RM2.00 only, yes, and that includes your drink too! I'd normally pay around RM6.00 for my lunch (inclusive of drink). And I honestly think that's already ridiculously bloody cheap! Makes me feel like moving to Alor Star right this very minute :)
I'd definitely visit this particular shop if I ever do visit Alor Star one day. That is if I can find the shop, hopefully the stall owner won't raise the price since he has been featured in the papers and is now a celebrity... hehehe. I haven't been to Kedah actually, heck, I've only ever been to 3 states in this country and they are Selangor, Johor and Malacca (Sabah doesn't count since I was born and raised there). I must make it a point to visit all the sates in Malaysia before I expire! LOL
Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I'd like to wish all my friends and readers a Happy Valentine's Day! Not that I'm celebrating, I'm way over that phase already :) I remember asking my husband way back then for Roses, well, demanding actually... yeah, pathetic, I know. I'm glad I've come to my senses :D
