Being 200!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I did my 100th post about 2 months ago and here I am again with my 200th post!

With the rate I'm going, I'm gonna be 300 in a couple of months time... hehehe. Well, I guess it's not really that surprising since my paid postings also contribute to the ever increasing posts. I think I've made enough moolah to buy Christmas presents for my family and friends... hooray for easy money! LOL

It's the school holidays and I pity my boys being cooped up at home all the time, they do go to the playground every evening and that's about it. With the spate of crimes happening in Malaysia, and even though they're boys, I do not dare to let them go too far. Thank God for the security personnel guarding the neighborhood 24/7.

The youngest one is still pestering me for a bicycle... remember the note he wrote? He did pretty good in his exams considering he did not even study for them! I kept reminding him to study and he kept saying he'd do it later. I'm not the type who forces my son to study... sometimes when you force someone too much, they do the exact opposite. I know because I'd react the same way. In the end, I gave my son an ultimatum; study or no bicycle for Christmas!

So, everyday he reminds me of his bicycle without fail. He would always ask the same question and at the same time everyday... I would reply before he's even finished asking! Talk about mommy's intuition! LOL

Study he did, but only the night before the exams! There I was worrying he'd fail all his subjects... thank God he actually passed his exams. He got 4th place in his class and was even selected to be a school prefect for next year. I could hardly believe it... he defies everything I tell him and yet he'll be 'upholding' law in school... how ironic.

It hasn't been easy adjusting to life in KL. I'm homesick most of the time, I miss my dad, my mom, my kampung, reminisced about my life as a padi girl! Yeah, I used to slog in those padi fields under the hot scorching sun. It was hard work but it sure was fun. How I wish my sons could experience that life but the padi fields are now gone. OK, enough reminiscing for the day.

Thank you to all of you who has been visiting my blog regularly.

I would want to see the face on your son's face when he got a bike. When Buddy got a Bumblebee (yellow) tricycle for his bday, his expresion was priceless!! It was so worth it, even if he barely uses it now.. :(
